We are seeking a Consultant based in our Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto offices to join our national consultant team for a 14-month contract to support our executive search business. You will join a large, collaborative team across Canada with the potential to grow in your career. Our approach to search drives consultants to develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients’ organization and the context of their business. This deep understanding allows us to provide continuous advice to clients to develop and support their talent management and acquisition programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Practice Partners and client organizations in the delivery of a search mandates, leading search strategy development, industry research, candidate outreach and assessment, and regular reporting.
- Develop and assess candidates while building strong relationships, interact with clients, and build substantive depth in various practices to help recruit high-performing leaders.
- Provide support to Practice Partners to build client relationships and business development opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- University or college graduate or commensurate experience, with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a recruitment or broader human capital professional services role. Executive search experience is a strong asset.
- Self-starter, with the ability to plan, develop, and manage multiple projects independently and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Natural curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, results-oriented, detail-oriented, and professional presentation.
- Strong ability to build relationships, communicate succinctly, and read nonverbal and social cues.
- French proficiency a strong asset.
