The Opportunity


Edmonton Airports is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. The CFO will play a central role in capital raising, project financing, and financial leadership, ensuring the airport’s long-term financial sustainability and operational excellence.

Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the CFO’s mandate will be to enhance the organization’s operational and financial performance and support the ongoing expansion of the airport to meet the needs of this fast-growing region. The CFO will be responsible for growing and mentoring a first-class team, strengthening the areas of financial reporting, financial planning, capital allocation, and capital raising, as well as serving as a true strategic business partner to the CEO and Leadership team.

The Individual


The ideal candidate for the CFO role will be a proven executive with extensive experience in a complex, capital-intensive environment which may include aviation, transportation or infrastructure. The CFO will have proven success in capital raising and managing large-scale capital projects. They will bring an entrepreneurial mindset and play a pivotal role in international investment attraction in various sectors including, aerospace and defense, global logistics, commercial industrial real estate, hospitality entertainment, technology, and innovation. The successful candidate will be a positive, collaborative and engaging leader with an ability to build a world-class finance team and forge strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
