Confidential Client | Vice President, Institutional Capital Raising

Our client, a Canadian investment and asset management firm, is seeking a Vice President, Institutional Capital Raising to lead capital formation activities and expand institutional investor relationships across Canada and select global markets.

Reporting to senior leadership, this highly visible role will be responsible for developing and executing the fundraising strategy for a flagship open-ended real estate fund, while supporting capital raising initiatives across the broader platform, including closed-end funds and segregated accounts. The successful candidate will establish and execute an institutional business development plan, cultivate relationships with pension plans, consultants, endowments, foundations, and family offices, and play a key role in growing the firm's investor base and long-term fund platform.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an entrepreneurial and relationship-driven professional with a proven track record of institutional capital raising within real estate, real assets, private markets, or alternative investments. The ideal candidate will possess strong institutional investor relationships, exceptional communication and presentation skills, sound commercial judgment, and the credibility to engage effectively with senior investment professionals and sophisticated investors.

Success in this role will require strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a hands-on approach to building and scaling a best-in-class institutional fundraising platform.
