Vice President, Player Growth & Experience, Western Canada Lottery Corporation

Edmonton

Hybrid

Western Canada Lottery Corporation is seeking a transformational growth leader to join its Executive Leadership Team at a pivotal moment in the organization's evolution. With more than $1 billion in annual sales, iconic lottery brands, a newly launched transformation agenda, and significant investments in digital capabilities, WCLC is redefining how it engages players across Western Canada.

Reporting to the President & CEO and leading a team of approximately 60 employees, the Vice President, Player Growth & Experience serves as the executive accountable for WCLC's end-to-end player growth agenda and the revenue outcomes it generates. This mandate spans product strategy, digital experience, retail, marketing, engagement, and omnichannel performance, bringing every significant player-facing lever together under a single enterprise vision. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will shape how WCLC attracts, acquires, engages, retains, and grows its customer base, aligning investments, priorities, and performance measures across the organization to deliver sustainable results.

This is a rare opportunity to help define the future of one of Western Canada's most recognized consumer organizations during a period of significant transformation. As WCLC evolves from a largely retail-based lottery model to a connected omnichannel ecosystem, the successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the company's strategic direction, future product roadmap, and overall consumer experience. Backed by a new digital platform, expanding analytics capabilities, and a strong mandate for innovation, this individual will influence which products and experiences reach the market, establish the metrics that define success, and unite digital, retail, and engagement efforts into a cohesive engine that delivers meaningful, lasting commercial impact.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially astute executive with a proven track record of driving consumer growth, leading transformation, and delivering measurable business results. They bring the ability to translate consumer insight, product strategy, digital experience, and data-driven decision making into a cohesive growth agenda that drives acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue performance. Equally comfortable shaping long-term vision and executing against ambitious objectives, they have successfully aligned teams, stakeholders, and investments around shared priorities in complex environments. As a leader, they are collaborative, empowering, and enterprise-minded, fostering innovation, accountability, and high performance while building strong relationships and creating alignment across the organization.
